About AOM Program
Arms of Mercy is a ministry (AOM) started because of God’s call on the life of our senior pastor Moses Onyango. God spoke to him in 1996 never to close his arms to the less privileged and vulnerable children. Besides serving God in other areas, pastor Moses and his wife Sarah have given close attention to the ministry of the poor and less privileged. He has a commitment on his heart to see the hopelessness in their lives a history and return a smile on their faces.
By God’s grace Pastor Moses has been taking care of several needy people in various ways namely; Education, Clothing, Feeding, Housing, and Medication.
Through Pastor Moses’ deep compassion for the hopeless children, lives and destines have been changed forever. Hope has come back to the hopeless, we have seen many go through education and get work, get married and all we can say, glory to God.
The Bible says, “Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: To visit orphans and widows in their trouble and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. James 1:27
We know through the Holy Scriptures, that God wants all areas of man well, that is; Spirit, Soul and Body as did our Lord Jesus Christ in His earthly ministry; His ministry was threefold.
Because of this burden to minister to the hurting hearts, Pastor Moses Onyango has widened this ministry through Rivers of life Ministries. We have bought two acres of land at Walusubi in Mukono district to build Educational centre and a home for these dear ones.
